No , what I mean is in a game like FF for instance , I wont do any side quests or only vey few.I wont spend too much time either talking to peole in villages etc.Just do the essential.
Them main plot is what interests me.If I want to play more than one game per semester I dont really have the choice.
No matter what DLC is coming for a game on the 360 PS3 fans find a way to diss it or whatever.Thers DLC coming for NG2 , 25 new missons and PS3 fans STILL find a way to be unhappy about it.
I mean how can you find a way to diss the fact that a game is getting the equivalent of a whole solo campaign to download ???

Anyway.Looks like DLC for games sells very well on xbox live.
Looking at the posts above me its pretty clear that DLC on PSN would flop big time.
That said , I dont buy DLC.I dont have much time to play videogames because of studies so I just try to finish a game as fast as I can.No side quests , no nothing.Straight to the finish line.

PS2 was CLEARLY the best console.My favourite console of all time is the PS2.Have possesed all consoles since PS1 at one time or another (except for Saturn and Dreamcast).

I agree with you that MSFT dont have many franchizes to build on compared to Sony.Moreover except for Halo the few big original xbox franchizes that can try to exploit are pretty small compared to playstation franchizes.
Sony got a whole lot of franchizes that they can rely on thanks to PS1 and PS2.
MSFT have a 7 year and 100 million consoles sold gap to catch up.That pretty much explains it all.They cant be at the same level when it comes to franchizes and brand...
